This is a up converter to receive HF with a RTL SDR. I use a R820T stick. My design is based to G0CWA design. It is put on shielded can to improve immunity to local shack noise. I also add a 5-30 pF variable capacitor to eliminate the need for a ppm frequency correction. I use a 125 MHz 3.3 V oscillator not a 100 Mhz one so the low frequency bands does not coexist with very strong FM broadcasts signals. It is powered from the USB stick stealing 5V power from it. This is my PCB. A hole exist in the can box to adjust the variable capacitor as the capacitance changes when you put the cover.
